Paye Complete Dora House Restoration

Paye have completed an extensive programme of works to restore the headquarters for The Royal Society of Sculptors.

Working with architects Purcell, our expert masons undertook significant masonry repairs to the historic Dora House, not only to make the building safe and dry but also to breath life back into its facades. Dominated by two impressive Dutch gables with a large red bricked chimney sandwiched between, the house required brick and stone repairs to the front elevation in addition to the rebuilding of a boundary wall, gate piers.

Every aspect has been carefully considered, from the chimney to the ornate balconies, front door and stone work.

Dora House will open to the public again in February 2023, take a look at the excellent video produced by The Royal Society of Sculptors to see how ‘Saving Dora House’ happened
