CHAIRMAN
Paul Newsam
BSC (Hons)
Paul Newsam graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
He gained specialist experience in a wide variety of structural repair methods before specialising in the repair of historic facades.
Paul joined Paye in 1993 and was promoted to Director in 1995. He served as Managing Director until 2018, when he was appointed Chief Executive. In 2025, he transitioned to the role of Chairman.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Matt Kember
MSC Conservation
Matt Kember began his career with Paye in 1994, progressing through the organization over three decades. His leadership journey saw him appointed as Director in 2008, before advancing to Managing Director in 2018. In 2025, he moved into his current role as Chief Executive.
Throughout his tenure, Matt has overseen the conservation and restoration of numerous significant heritage buildings. His portfolio includes several prestigious projects: the award-winning restoration of Hoares Bank, the conservation of Sir Edwin Lutyens' Reuters Building on Fleet Street, the preservation of Ypres Tower, restoration work at Bodiam Castle, and the conservation of The Grange in Ramsgate—Augustus Pugin's former residence.
In his role as Chief Executive, Matt provides strategic leadership for the organization, setting the company's long-term vision and guiding its overall direction.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dominic Peachey
BSC (Hons)
Dominic Peachey became part of the Paye team in April 2005, bringing with him a Construction Management degree from UMIST. His career progressed steadily, leading to his appointment as Contracts Director in 2018, responsible for overseeing multiple active projects while guiding delivery teams to successful completion.
His extensive expertise spans the full spectrum of construction work, including new construction, restoration projects, conservation efforts, and complex facade retention schemes. Most recently, Dominic stepped into the role of Managing Director in 2025.

DIRECTOR
Robert Greer
BSC (Hons) MCIOB CENV
Robert Greer joined the company in 1996 from a main contracting background.
He has over thirty years’ experience and was responsible for the company’s projects at the Royal Opera House, BBC Broadcasting House, Royal Albert Hall and The Tower of London.
Robert is also responsible for implementing the Environmental Policy and the training of skilled craftsmen. He was appointed as a Director in 2008

DIRECTOR
Mark Pettyfer
BBA (Hons)
Mark graduated from University of Kent at Canterbury and undertook his Quantity Surveying training at Mansell Construction where he worked for thirteen years gaining a wide spectrum of experience specialising in projects on historic buildings in London and the South East.
Mark joined Paye in 2014 to oversee our works on the Battersea Power Station Development and has continued to work and lead our major works projects from pre construction to completion.
Mark has a passion for developing and mentoring our teams projects and feels the forging of strong relationships and collaboration is key to the success of projects.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his young family watching the children explore anything and everything – from visiting new places, trying new experiences and tastes. He also enjoys a range of sports including cricket, football and padel. Mark also plans to learn a new language one day!

DIRECTOR
Andrew Burnett
MCIOB
Andrew holds a University Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Greenwich University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
Joining Paye in 2005, Andrew has demonstrated exceptional career progression, starting as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor before advancing through QS and Senior QS roles. He was promoted to Associate Director in 2015 and most recently to Director in 2025.
Working primarily within the construction department's commercial team, Andrew oversees numerous projects across the home counties and London. He is a recognized specialist in conservation and heritage projects, bringing expert knowledge to the commercial side of the business. His responsibilities include supporting estimating activities in addition to organizing and presenting CPDs to share his expertise with the wider team and industry specialists.
Andrew combines his professional expertise with a commitment to developing both projects and people within the organization.

FINANCE DIRECTOR
Martin Harvey
BA (Hons) ACA
Martin Harvey qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and has over 30 years’ experience in both practice and industry.
Martin joined Paye in 1997 and was appointed a Director in 2003.
