Paye has been associated with Knole House and the Estate for 20 years, successfully completing a wide range of contracts involving masonry repair and conservation of the boundary walls, buildings and house.

Works were undertaken to extensively re-pave the external courtyard following a detailed site survey. Both salvaged and new stone were used, new drainage installed and masonry repairs to windows and string courses.

Having established an in-depth working knowledge of the Estate, Estate Management and understanding their expectations of specialist contractors employed to conserve the historic fabric and environs has been vitally important over the long relationship with Knole.
