Structural Roof Repairs
St John’s Wood was one of the few barracks built during the post-Waterloo period, to improve security in the capital and until 2012 served as headquarters for the Royal Horse Artillery.
Paye were instructed to conduct a specialist repair sample undertaken to the roof trusses, where the ends had started to rot.
To do this new weight bearing ends were created by installing steel re-enforcements, casting the ends in resin with over cladding in timber to match the original truss.
