which provides the architect with a finite quantum of stone to be considered within their design of the new facades 

removing the expectation of building with new stone.

Whilst the increase in façade dismantle and repurposing projects is possibly just a London phenomenon driven by the
London Planning Policy where our skills to dismantle, reduce in thickness and reconstruct the façade as a facsimile 
streetscape has flourished. We are starting to move in to a new era where the stone is carefully removed and reused in 
its most beneficial form as dimensional stone cladding.

We have been dismantling and rebuilding facades for over thirty years and with the capability to retain 95%+ of
the original stone façade for reuse has generated additional benefits:

• the improved thermal performance of the external fabric

• the ability to remove inherent steel frame corrosion risk defects
