Year Out Placement Scheme
Our tailored Year Out Placement Scheme is open to students who are undertaking their BSc Construction Management, BSc Commercial Management, BSc Civil or Structural Engineering degrees or similar.
Whilst gaining a greater understanding of our business, our programme will help you to use the knowledge you have gained from your degree so far and give you the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience.
You will be given support and guidance from PAYE experienced professionals and given structured industry-leading training. We also offer a competitive salary with a benefits package.
It is our intention to build a working relationship which could ultimately lead to a permanent position upon Graduation.

GRADUATE RECRUITMENT SCHEME
Our Graduate Recruitment Scheme is run for students who are due to complete their BSc Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or similar.

Craft and Apprenticeship
PAYE is actively involved in the development and promotion of traditional crafts to ensure that we have a skilled workforce for the next generation.
Over the past five years we have trained forty cleaners, restorers, and stonemasons to achieve a minimum standard of NVQ level 2 through the OSAT NVQ Scheme. We also employ apprentices who study part time to NVQ level 3.
Investment in training also includes our management staff, helping them to achieve Post Graduate Diplomas in Conservation, MSc’s in Conservation and BSc’s in Construction Management.
Training & Development
On a national level, PAYE are members of the National Stone Industry Training Group, the National Heritage Training Group, the Stone Federation of Great Britain Facade and Surface Repair Committee and have developed a training strategy to enable all of our skilled operatives to achieve the newly created NVQ level 3 Heritage Skill Card.
We recognise the importance of training and developing a skilled workforce for the future and believe that by investing in apprentices we will continue to be recognised as a company that provides work of the highest quality.
